Profanity will be deleted. If you want profanity, no problem, put it on your site or blog (e.g. Blogspot blogs are free!) and link to it from Urban Vancouver.
Individual authors retain copyright on their postings to the site.
Off topic, disrespectful (e.g. calling somebody a "jerk" is disrespectful) as well as racist, sexist, p*rn, warez, etc. posts will be deleted without warning.
The editors will unpublish (i.e. remove from the website) outright commercial ads (e.g. buy my widget) or press releases if they appear in any post. The editors may make exceptions if the post is suitably witty. :)
If the editors deem a post or comment to contain solely or significantly text designed to enhance the the search engine ranking of an external site, that post or comment may be deleted without notice. Repeated posts or comments may result in account deletion without notice.
