I'm not voting for any of the above, because
I live in North Van, right beside the folks
up on Snob Hill, and we don't like any of those guys.
They've all got delusions of grandeur, and the
wrong addresses.

Struggling to find out what the differences are between these guys, all of them spend more time making generic promises and some of them spend more of their time slamming the other guy then actually saying what they are specifically going to do.
Can anybody help me?

Ya I just wanna say that this is rediculous how this election is bein run and how society takes itself for grantid. I mean come on, you're giving people a choice between grey, white, black, brown and yellow when if given the choice everyone would pick blue green or red. How is it that there's 20 people for mayor, and 5 people in your poll for who will you vote for?

I'm tired of tryin to save everyone and everything, obviously your too ignorant to appreciated it anyways, and couldn't save your life if someone was begging to save it for you.

You'll know if this message isn't directed to you,

What a lack of choice we have for mayor of Vancouver. Vancouver is a potential world-class city but we'll never get there until somehow a higher calibre of candidate will run for office. As a sidenote, look at the urban sprawl of Surrey. A total sell-out to developers and now it has the ugliness of LA with 24-hour gridlock. Back to Vancouver, have you seen the hideous "art" that the parks board has put in Coal Harbour? There's an old shed that I was hoping was temporary for some workmen... but no, they put it on stilts and nows it's art. Well, folks, don't laugh too loud cuz the joke's on us -- we paid for it-- and continue to pay the salaries and perks of the morons who voted for it.

The homelessness problem of Vancouver gets worse by the day... unbelieveable... but as long as everyone stays "politically correct" it will only continue to get worse. Get the mentally ill some help, get the handicapped some help, and get the young, able-bodied people off the streets and back to Montreal and Toronto.

I've got 10 different signs on my front lawn. I've got GREEN, NPA, VISION (but no COPE yet).

Vision placed a big sign up front without my permission, so I gave them shit. I support two of their candidates for Council - George Chow and Raymond I guess they figured I'zed a Vision supporter. Well, I stapled a Sammy Sullivan sign over Jimmy Green on the BiG VV sign.

Like the big guy sez - I support democracy, and I've put my money where my mouth is by staking those candidates who pass the acid test (ie. passing intelligent words through their frontal orifices).

Check out who I think the best picks for Vancouver's Civic election by checking out my website (unfortunately for me it's not set up as a real blog cuz' I hadn't sat down with my friend Roland T. long enough to stay awake).
