There Is A Season Announced as One Book, One Vancouver Selection

By Richard Eriksson on April 28, 2006 - 7:43am

Dustin Sacks notes the choice for this year's One Book, One Vancouver at the Vancouver Public Library:

The book that has been selected is There is a Season, the memoir of Patrick Lane. I requested the next available copy be sent to my local library using the funtastic VPL online system. It doesn't seem like my regular fare, but I shall read it when it comes. One Book, One Internet

I've created a special report for coverage of OBOV here at Urban Vancouver. Same as Dustin, There Is a Season doesn't look like my regular fare, but also like Dustin, I'll buy a copy and read it. I'll be watching the PubSub feed I have for One Book, One Vancouver [RSS, Atom] for those who write about the book in their weblog.

  • 2005: Obasan by Joy Kogawa
