Now, this looks more like winter should.
An article here is one that gives us an answer to something I've wondered about - Does anyone out there actually read this stuff? And this article says probably not. But don't take my word for it - try the link.
And enjoy your evening, everyone.
My husband and I grew up in North Vancouver, fourth street and Queenbury Avenue.
went to Ridgeway, sutherland and Carson Graham.
I love the pictures here of the North shore mountains.
I was also taken back on Molly Nye's house on Lynn Valley Road, Molly taught school at sutherland for many years and she was both our science teacher.
can we or any one who knows us start a blog on our lives on the North shore during the 50's,60's and 70's ect. i would love to hear from you all who read this.
Fiona Arcos (nee Douglas) and Tito arcos you all know who we are, so let get to it.
we now live in Los angeles california.

I can't speak for the editors who operate this site, but you can email them
anytime by addressing it to info (at) urbanvancouver.com/ and I'm sure they'll
reply. At the moment, they're a bit busy with a merging of two companies they
have collectively been working with, but even so, they're very helpful folks,
if you have any questions about blogs or blogging around here. As you've likely
seen by now, there are literally hundreds of bloggers around here now who sometimes
or regularly publish stuff using blogs on Urban Vancouver. This is where I got my
start, facetiously calling myself "Oldest Living Blogger". I'm old, but not that
old yet. But it was good for a few laughs, and it got us noticed in 'USA Today',
which didn't hurt a bit. Also, do feel free to add a comment to anything you find
posted into blogs here. As most bloggers can tell you, we all really enjoy seeing
comments under an article, because it means someone's interested - and that's what
we're trying to accomplish with these things - participation and exchange of ideas.
Thanks for the comment, and enjoy the Land of KTLA-5, and The Morning News.
as long as the writing "muse" inspires you, it doesn't matter if you have comments or not (IMHO)
although of course, feedback, positive or negative, is always helpful

She was my father's cousin. We called her 'Auntie Molly'and I wonder if the house is the one I have several photos of from the early 20th century. I also have photos of Molly as a baby, child and adult! It was only today that my dad told me she was pretty well known in Vancouver so I did a search - which is why I'm here! I know my family here in England would be delighted to know more about what people remember of 'Auntie Molly'!
Hey Fiona and Tito. My name is Shelly and I lived on East 5th St. in North Van, knew both of you! If you receive this, email me at adamgti@shaw.ca. Hope to hear from you! Shelly :)
