Any thing that helps us singles to find love is a bonus if you ask me. In this day and age when everyone is busy with their own lives and as you become older it gets even more difficult to meet people who are single, attractive and normal! I will be checking the agency out myself to see if I get lucky.

A friend of mine recently attended a speed dating function with a big twist. It was called dating in the dark. The singles who were participating were given eye masks, the dining room was darkened, and no-one got to see each other until after the speed dating event was finished and participants had chosen who they wanted to see again. I guess this type of twist really puts to the test those people who place someones personality as their highest priority when looking for a partner.

Hmm, maybe I should check out the Vancouver speed dating club. So far I only registered at the best dating sites I could find on the web and tried my luck. It's always hard to build up a relationship via the internet. Maybe it's easier when you talk to a person face to face at such a dating event.

I have rarely actually got to know someone online -by know someone, I mean know if I can trust them or not, know if I would like to spend several hours in their company, even just have a relatively clear idea about the facts of their life (age, profession, marital status)...
and then, the whole first date thing - you've been flirting with this person for two weeks, and you finally meet in a bar, and you realise that physically there is nothing there... It's a very awkward situation) hope this is most helpful

Very true, speed dating can be a great way for people to meet others. many people are way to busy these days to go out and find someone.
