Tom Benjamin links to a Victoria Columnist letter arguing that it could be worse for Canucks fans: we could have another series to be nervous about, and says that to an extent. Tom agrees:
I don't have to watch. If I don't find the game to be compelling, I don't have to keep watching. I'm willing to entertain alternatives to watching the hockey game. So the Leaf fan is definitely right. In one sense, losing is liberating. On the other hand, I do wish for some more agonizing next year.Canucks Corner NHL Weblog: On Liberation

I was coming back from Vancouver Island today, and overheard quite a few young hopefuls heading to the Plaza of Nations for the Vancouver auditions for Canadian Idol.
Apparently, many are planning to stay in line overnight: the line up began at 6pm on Sunday, April 25th, and the auditions begin at 8am Monday morning.
Good luck, Vancouver idol-ers!

I am sure the tenaliontenth condos in Kitsilano are nice, but like most Kits condos, they are very expensive: 1 bedroom and den $255, 000! Wow!
