He will be sharing his knowledge and experience in a number of environmentally friendly building supplies and practices that can be used both for starting a new home and renovating an existing one. Bring the kids for a family oriented green afternoon. Kids will enjoy 30 Days' recycled craft creation, face painting, bubbles and Bonkers! A musical duo that performs interactive songs about sustainability like “Go Talk to a Tree”, “Energy Hog”, “Planting a Garden” and more. Yoga for the both the kids and parents! Kids 8 to 88 also invited to operate mininature wind turbines, which provide power to model electric cars, for mini-races. This Saturday, May 3rd at Britannia Community Centre and Grandview Park, Vancouver, the Solar Powered Road Show will be giving away over $500 in free, revived alkaline batteries.
