Tracks From Jax's Debut EP Elevator Goodbyes Now Available Online

By noodlehead_prod... on June 1, 2009 - 9:24pm

Meet JAX: singer, songwriter, screenwriter, actress, activist, producer, director, 21st century renaissance woman. Jax is currently fine tuning her debut EP, ELEVATOR GOODBYES, which is scheduled for release this summer. Tracks from Elevator Goodbyes can now be sampled at MySpace and Reverb Nation:

Jax just wrapped shooting the short film Glow, which she co-wrote with the film's director, Nicolas Kadima. She has guest-starred on the hit sci-fi television series Eureka and appeared alongside the comic genius of actor Eugene Levy in two American Pie films.

The television role of Joan of Arx on Canada’s Space Channel made her a fan favorite of Canadian sci-fi fans from coast-to-coast. She has performed for the stage with the Soulpepper Theater Company, Motley Theater Company, Festival of Original Theater, Not 2B Confused, Players Academy and Artists Play Showcase.

Jax is also a professional dancer, having studied with the Toronto Dance Theater, American Ballet Theater and Kirov Academy of Ballet. Her love for dance and choreography was highlighted in a 2006 Oakville Beaver article, Dancin’ To Her Own Tune.
