Another nice sunset....

Tonight's sunset
Trying out my new Canon G9. The little Ixus-30 with 3x optical zoom just wasn't quite enough.
I was going to buy one of Canon's refurbished cameras from their warehouse in Toronto, but after talking to their digital camera expert there, he pointed out that if what I wanted was more zoom, I should look at a new one, instead of adding extras onto a rebuilt one. So I took his advice, and went to London Drugs. It just happens they're having a sale on these this week. And they've got a 4 GB SDHC from Panasonic for only $27.98 and a spare battery from Optex for $39.98. So I now have the extras for it, too. Did I mention the User Guide is 273 pages? Most of us will probably never read half of them. I love its 6x optical zoom. At last, better close-ups.

Some image-splicing is better than others. This wasn't. But it's a nice sunset.

The Last Sunset of 2007 - In case you missed it!
In case you're thinking "This isn't the last day of the year! What's the matter with that Old Coot anyway?", I just have one thing to say: "Wait and see!"
And enjoy your evening, everyone.
